We’ve put this site together so we can share our story, help our guests find accommodations, and provide directions to the ceremony and reception! We are so excited to be getting married and can’t wait to share our special day with each of you.

May 11th is right around the corner so check back often for updates (we will even update the site after the wedding with pictures from the ceremony and reception!). If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at wedding@lisa-and-aaron.com.

Our Story

Summer 2006: A chance meeting of two old college friends in a city neither knew the other lived. No, that’s not the story of Lisa and Aaron, but it is the catalyst that led to their meeting. Julie Runner and Aaron were friends in college at LSU and happened to run into each other one evening in Richmond. Julie and Lisa worked together at The Martin Agency and had started up a friendship.

One thing led to another and … bonding over SEC football, (Lisa went to the University of Tennessee), the newly formed group started meeting up to watch games at various local watering holes — always rooting against Florida.

At a party around Christmastime in 2006 at Julie’s place, Lisa and Aaron got to talk more one-on-one and it was then that Lisa wondered, “what if he’s the man I’m going to marry?” From then on, Lisa and Aaron started spending more time together, and not just to watch football.

The rest — as they say — is history.
